Brand new tour! Join Manitowish Waters Historical Society historians Kay Krans and Jim Bokern on a two-hour pontoon tour of Manitowish and Little Star lakes, which will depart from Blue Bayou. Discover the Indigenous community’s cultural networks, logging camps, railroad landing, early resorts, Ojibwa village, unique residents, homesteads, businesses and, of course, about Dillinger’s gang. While traveling along the shores of these lakes, participants will view many unique historic sites that will be supplemented with historic images and documents.
